I think it has to do with expecting to win when the team has a big lead going late in the game.

It's like having something taken that was yours versus getting an unexpected gift of 7 runs in the ninth. lol

In essence we are minus 1.  We lost two games with big leads and won one game we had no business winning.

How fast things can turn around. Just a few short weeks ago we were discussing in a thread how we had the following guys who could legit close a game:

Norris

Bedrosian

Parker

Middleton

Street (lol)

 

Now suddenly all of these guys have sucked lately.

At this point I say give Petit a shot maybe? I dunno, we are a bit out of options.

but i do think the FO has phoned it in as evidenced by the trade deadline.  The yare content to collect the gate receipts for the LA Trouts and call it a day.
