I'm looking for anything on this kid. Last year there was this write up on him from a d-back prospects site:
"Luis Madero, RHP: the Venzuelan righty has proven effective in the DSL and AZL in his first two professional seasons, striking out plenty and limiting the walks with a career ERA of 2.52 over his first 121.2 innings. He’ll face a tougher test in the Pioneer League, which isn’t generally unfriendly to pitchers. He’s been tough for hitters to square up to date and, at 6’3″ and 175-pounds, he may start become a real prospect for the organization with a strong showing. He’ll be adding a sinker this season after consulting with Freddy Garcia over the winter."

I mean...Eppy has an eye for pitchers, but it feels unlikely that he will have any kind of impact within the Trout window.

Seems like a terrible trade to me. One of our nice bullpen pieces gone, in exchange for someone who won't even be on our roster for another year or two, at best.

Ha.  Say what you will, but I've been suggesting all along that they should dump their relievers for literally anything another team will offer.  The vast majority of the bullpen was picked up off of the scrap heap, and wasn't controllable past this loss of a season, anyway.
