He's the DH for heavens sake. That's his only job. He just has to hit. That's all they need him to do.

On this board it's been well established that he sucks brutha.  You played a big part in making sure everyone here knows that.  Great job !

Maybe lay off a bit.  We get it mang.

I honestly wouldnt be shocked if this winter he announces 2018 as his retirement tour. Try and cover up his fade with a feel good story.

If not, barring some miracle where he comes back strong next year, i dont see him playing in 2019. Odds are heavy hes worse next year. I dont think his pride lets him become a stoey in of itself of how bad hes become.

We can say all we want "he wont leave the money". But i guarantee its not fun for him to suck this badly in public, with guys half his age surrounding him (who are more into poon than the good book, like him).

Like ALF said, getting to 3000 is no sure thing at this point. I thought that would be the magic number.once he gets doen to hitting .2-teens with no power, i think "money isnt everything" gets more and more clear.

I never believed he would retire before the money ran out, but the only way it was going to happen would be if he was just so bad the team couldn't stand to play him and he just had to ride the pine for 9 (as Hud would say) for a couple of years.

Albert Pujols is a guy that has been to the absolute pinnacle of athletic achievement.  He was the best in the world at what he did.  He's owed mega millions more money.  It's crazy that you guys think his ego allows him to think anything other then he's gonna bounce back.

Hes not going to give up one cent of that deal.  Why should he ? Would any of you !? The Angels are stuck with this, it's the bed they made.  As the minorities say, hate the game not the player.
