Of course not. He will bat 3rd/4th all season long despite being, currently, their worst qualified hitter. On any given day he's one of the 3 worst hitters in the lineup for an offense that's near the bottom of the pack in every major category. We've all seen the steep decline from Pujols over the years but this is finally the first full year where he looks totally cooked. If he wasn't making the money he was making and his name wasn't Albert Pujols, we'd have already seen him in a rotating platoon at 1B/DH with the other junk at that position.

In regards to pujols batting 4th still. Yes, its ugly. But if were not going to october anyway, screw it...hopefully he pads his rbi stats there enough to the point he reaches whatever magic number his aiming for. Literally the only way he walks early.
