Judge strikeout so much that he makes Trout look like a contact hitter, a la Tony Gwynn. And no one that knows baseball would say that Judge is better than Trout. As far as I know, Judge needs to put up a lot of big seasons to deserve to consider as good or better than Trout.

Where did anyone claim that?  You sure are touchy about Trout.  Every thread on this board you're making excuses for his lousy play as of late.

Judge has put up 7.8 WAR this season.  Trout 4.6. Even if Trout hadn't been hurt he'd still be behind.   I personally am not a big fan of WAR but there you have it.

Also, just because someone posts that Player X doesn't do something as well as Player Y, it doesn't mean they hate Player X.

Binary thinking is a sign of a simple mind.  All those gray areas can be a bit overwhelming to some.

How am I making up excuses? Has he gotten unlucky this month? Look, he has hit like 8-9 balls hard and the defenders have made great play against him or he has hit the ball hard but it's right at them. On top of that, Trout doesn't have a 4.6 WAR this year. It's over 6 currently, so get your shit right.

He's batting .229 in September and he struck out 4 times last night in the most important game of the year.  "bad luck" right?

One of his strikeouts was because of the ump was blind. Add in those 8-9 hits that he lost this month and he would have a tremendous slash line.

Hits he "lost"?  LOL that's kind of what the defense is supposed to do.  Yeah and if I was 10 years younger and quicker I would bat .500.  Excuses.  He sucked big time when we needed him most.  That said, he's one man and can't be expected to carry the team constantly.

No, there you don't have it.

His WAR is 6.5

On May 24th,  7 weeks into the season, his WAR was at 3.3  He missed 6 weeks, so it's absolutely possible (probable?) that he would be ahead of Judge.

Anaheim and Seattle, yes

Houston, Texas, and even Oakland?   Not so much

Oakland is still harder than Boston, Baltimore, and New York. Arguably, Yankee Stadium is one of the easier places to hit a home run, and Judge plays half his games there.

Well, obviously Trout would be if they counted OTSHBH.

The new Yankee Stadium would have given Reggie Willits an opportunity to hit a few out to right field. He retired too soon.
