Yep.

Presumably everyone moves up a step next year, with Hermosillo and maybe Sanger having a chance of getting major league at bats sometime in 2018. I'd also like to see Puello given a real audition this year. But the questions for me are, which of the Orem outfielders jump to A+? Presumably Hunter or Vega, especially if they're promoted this year. Also, where doe Pearson and Adell start the year? Waiting for Orem seems like a shame, but the Angels tend to be pretty conservative. Still, would love to see both in A - with an outfield of Pearson, Adell, and Marsh.

I think Adell will be in Burlington to start 2018. No need to be so ridiculously conservative with their #10 pick. They used it on him for a reason. Pearson will probably be in Orem, would be my guess.

The Angels are still one of the more conservative teams in terms of promoting. This regime is better about promoting that Dipoto's was, who was a thousand times better than Reagins. Before him, Stoneman was pretty good about challenging guys.

We have a new director of minor league operations, and things have sped up a bit, but we still aren't where the Marlins, Padres, Dodgers, and Tigers are in terms of aggressively promoting.

Adell to Burlington would be aggressive. I like it. But given what I've seen with Jones, Marsh, Hermosillo, Fletcher, Castillo, Nonie, Duensing, etc... I'd say it's not going to happen.

But I'd love to be pleasantly surprised!

Adell has torched AZL so far. Only been a couple games, but he's looked very comfortable.
Could he perhaps get a brief stay in Orem later this year, to help bridge a possible Burlington debut next year?

In 2009 Mike Trout played 30+ games for the AZL Angels, only to bypass Orem and play for the Low-A Cedar Rapids (now Burlington) club for the last 5 games of the season.

So maybe..
