As bad as Cano's contract is, at least he can still hit well and field well enough.   Whereas Cano put up a near .900 OPS at age 33, and has an .813 OPS so far at age 34, Pujols after age 32 has never, eeever had even an .800 OPS.

Currently...Cano = 6.5 years for $156 million remaining at age 34, Pujols = 4.5 years for $127 million remaining at age 37.

Both are yuck contracts.

Well, I am hoping the deals the Angels make at pre-deadline mid-season this year are ones where the over-priced guys are going out not coming in.
