Oh, Papa Troll, you be funnin'. But I can see why. Every other post seems an attack on the apparent failings of various -- well, two in particular -- Angels players. The energy spent on the collective angst blows hard enough to power the wind farm in Banning Pass.

He was 2-4 today with what should have been a Sac Fly except Maybin had a brain fart.

He was 1-4 yesterday with a HR.

He was 2-4 Monday. If he could only run he would be fine. He has lost a few hits because he is turtle slow.

Bridwell has sure been a bright spot this season. He's given the Angels some good innings and for the most part has allowed them to compete every night he's pitched.

Looking at his career numbers it's tough to figure out where this is coming from. At only 25 years of age maybe he's found something?

Bridwell was DFA by Baltimore and traded for cash. Looks to be a nice find by Eppler. He might rate better than Tropeano. The Mariners hammered him but other than that start he's been more than solid.

Bridwell has good stuff.   Like with any pitcher, it's about movement and command.
