SKAGGS SCRATCHED

Recommended Posts

Tyler Skaggs was scheduled to begin his rehab assignment on Saturday night, but he was scratched from a start in the Arizona League “as a precaution after reporting general soreness in his oblique,” the Angels announced. Skaggs will “continue throwing as tolerated,” the club said.

Skaggs, who has been out nearly two months because of a strained oblique, was targeting a return just before the All-Star break, but this setback reduces his chances of being able to make that goal.

The initial timeline for the injury was 10 to 12 weeks. He is currently eight weeks removed from the injury, so he’s still within the expected window.

i'm thinking he bit on your stuff without credit.

I found it at a site with around 5 stories and it was the middle story, and I didn't notice an author. If I posted the web site link it have would require the reader to scroll through 2 or 3 other stories to get to it. So I just copied and pasted the part relating to Skaggs.

Sorry if I stepped on any ones toes but I'm not a journalists just an Angels fan.

I've reached the point with Skaggs that I did with Richards. I don't expect anything from either of these dudes and anything they get is a bonus. Angels haven't ruled Richards out for the season yet right? Is he supposed to start rehabbing or something sometime in July? I envision we'll hear about a setback with him around that time and then the team will announce he's shut down for the year

Richards can lift 35LBs with left hand and only 20 with RH. I read until he can lift as much with RH he will not start throwing.
