I don't think it's a matter of being hot with him. I legitimately think he's just too talented to be in the Pioneer League right now. I understand why he's there, and I might have made the same choice given his back injury from last year and subsequent lack of at bats. But I think what would be best for him and the Angels right now if he were in Burlington. 

Chances are they'll give him the Jahmai Jones treatment, meaning they'll keep him in Orem while he puts up numbers and then promote him the last week or two of the season to get his feet wet.

Personally, I would rather challenge him in A Ball and get him to Inland Empire next year.

Well, let's see how he's playing in a couple weeks. If he keeps killing it, maybe they'll move him up. Lund was promoted from Burlington a couple weeks ago, so he'd be taking time from fringe prospects McDonnell and/or Schuknecht. THe point being, there's room in Burlington for him without disrupting much.
