Ducks starters: Beauchemin, Souray, Ryan, Getzlaf, Perry, Fasth. Scratches: Fowler (inj), Lombardi, Staubitz, Holland. Lombardi is healthy.

 

Fowler has an upper body injury, not deemed to be serious.  Should be back by the next game.  Also, Bonino is expected to be back for the next game.

Ducks squandered a couple opportunities.  Gotta get it back in the third.

Frustrating game.  Kings got 6 power plays to the Ducks 1 and the only Ducks PP was because of a delay of game which they have to call.  That said, the Ducks had plenty of opportunities that they missed.

 

The Kings are a very good, physical team.  Probably the third best team in the West behind Chicago and Anaheim.

It's about time these two teams meet in the playoffs. Maybe a 2nd round matchup if the 6th seed can take out Vancouver?

A loss, but overall a good game.  They had the opportunities, just didn't fall the right way.  No cheap goals given up either, so that's a plus.

Both teams played a good game last night.  Blackhawks, Ducks, and Kings are definitely the class of the West.

Ducks confirm signing of Yale center Antoine Laganiere, as reported earlier by @RenLavoieRDS and@TSNBobMcKenzie. Two-year entry level.

Understanding is Laganiere will indeed report to Anaheim. Can play in regular season but doesn't necessarily mean he will.

Team needs to get their shit together before the playoffs start otherwise they won't last long.

It's hard to compete with a team like Columbus who are fighting for their playoff lives.

Fun game to be at last night, ending obviously sucked but at least we got a point.  We have about 10-12 days to get back to the team that dominated in Jan/Feb.  Hopefully Bonino will be back soon and get a few games under his belt for the playoffs.  Lombardi has not impressed me and I hope he is the one who is scratched for Bones.

It looks as if Jonas Hiller will start for Ducks tonight against Calgary. Igor Bobkov has been recalled from AHL Norfolk.

Appears that Viktor Fasth might be dealing with an injury issue. Took part in morning skate but left ice a little early.

Its a good thing we have 2 solid goalies with the injury problems they have had this year!
