Had this (as a plate, not a sandwich) for the first time in new york a few years ago. Wasnt at all looking forward to it, and it blew me away. That sauce is amazing. 

Its not too popular our here yet. Someone could make money beating others before it gets saturated. Same as opening a mexican place overseas.

if it's greek, it should be tzatziki sauce - yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice, and cucumber (there's a few different variations of this, but that's the basic recipe). easily available around here.

The yogurt sauce is better if you add some dill. Also great with falafel
