NY and boston have good shots of making the playoffs. The dodgers will for sure, and are a good WS candidate (barf). This team with all its pitchers dead, and without trout, just went on a run not unlike the playoffs, on the road, and prevailed....

Good job by eppler to create a good unit, and good job by sosh keeping their heads in the right place when trout got hurt.

Don't forget we took 2 of 3 from the Astros also. The only series we've lost since June 6 is against the Royals. We beat the Tigers, the Astros, Yankees(twice), the Red Sox, and have at least a split against the Dodgers. Not bad for a team that was written off before the season started and when we still had all are players healthy. The miracle Angels 2017.

The Angels series' record is 6-3-3 against the AL; not bad at all.

With Trout, it would have been 7-2-3.

Yes losing to Kershaw just means we are a bunch of losers....despite beating the Astros 2/3 Yanks 4/6 Boston 2/3 and 2/3 against the Dogs....only the four best teams in the league.

Yes but it's very likely that those teams will still advance to the playoffs and we won't. The Orioles and Indians will also pose a threat. 

There's two wild cards and we probably won't get one. Geez!

This is a real nice run by the Angels considering the teams played.  Kershaw should serve as a reference point to emphasize that this team should not be focused on deals for short term improvement.  Young, athletic players to fill the most glaring holes would be a nice trade deadline goal.

Under no circumstances should Espinosa and Pennington be considered options for the Angels in 2018.....that would be an Eppler fail.
