The next 10 games :Update 6-4 Great Job!

Recommended Posts

If they lose to kershaw, meh, most teams do. Its still been a great run. NY and Boston at home arent pushover teams, and taking 2 of 3 against the dogs so far when they won 10 straight is very impressive.

NY and boston have good shots of making the playoffs. The dodgers will for sure, and are a good WS candidate (barf). This team with all its pitchers dead, and without trout, just went on a run not unlike the playoffs, on the road, and prevailed....

Good job by eppler to create a good unit, and good job by sosh keeping their heads in the right place when trout got hurt.

absolutely.  Got through this stretch about as well as anyone could have realistically hoped for.  I mean, we got great pitching out this Bridwell guy.  Meyer shows flashes of being a potential fixture in the rotation.  Hopefully we win tomorrow but if not, whatever.  We'll have a nice shot to win another series this weekend.

Not to sound like a broken record, but in regards to the sosh bashing, this year is showing how important a bullpen is. This team, with all the hard luck, shouldnt be where it is. But finally having a group of guys, not one, two maybe, that you can put in constantly to shut the other guy down is huge.

The 02 team wasnt anything special in terms of SP, but the pen was beast. The 02 team were big comebackers....just like this year.

Defense, a strong bullpen, and an offense with speed to force plays have kimd of always been sosh trademarks...not saying we shouldnt critique the guy for his bonehead decisions, but maybe eppler was more open to trying to build something along the same lines as sosh prefers, and rhe results are showing?

My first year as a baseball fan, my Phillies lost 23 games in a row. Three years later they collapsed at the end of September.

When I became an Angels fan, they lost three pennants in 1979, 1982, and of course, 1986.

Then there was 1995 and Luis Sojo.

There was also the Series win in 2002, so a definite consolation there.

I'm kind of wired at this point to expect the worst. Product of my experiences, I guess.

I've never heard an Angels fan refer to winning the World Series in 2002 as a consolation

Dodgers won again.

Los Angeles has won 14 of its last 15 games.

"We're really rolling right now," Alex Wood (8-0, 1.86 ERA)  said. "It's going to be tough for anyone to come in here right now."

The Dodgers have scored at least six runs in each of their last seven games.

And 6 runs total in 3 games vs starting pitchers named Nolasco, Chavez and Meyer.

The much ballyhooed dodger offense has scored in 2 of the 27 innings played.

Thanks, Scioscia!

Very nice 10 game stretch!

With tonight's game being an auto L against Kershaw, last nights W to guarantee a winning record for this 10 game stretch was huge!

Lets upgrade 2nd base before the deadline and get healthy!

Brandon Phillips, Ian Kinsler, Scooter Gennett could most likely all be had without giving up a lot

Kinsler has a limited no-trade clause in his contract that consists of 10 teams. He will only waive the clause if he gets an extension on his contract. The Dodgers are for sure one of the teams and when they asked about Kinsler during the off-season, the Tigers wanted Bellinger in return

This stretch is a good reminder that while the Angels roster doesn't stack up with the top tier teams, as long as you get into the dance it really doesn't matter in a short series. I mean, that's always been obvious but some folks still need a refresher

2-1 @ NY

2-1 @ Bos

2-1 against the hottest team in baseball(and obviously will win tonight because the Dodgers are a crappy NL team playing with the big boys in an AL park now)

They get the shitty Mariners next so a sweep should be in order.

Why do I get the feeling that this is a trap?

Lol!

Remember when smart phones were new, and all the sudden people would randomly send you a pic of some hot naked chick? And youd think "awe, sweet!"  And that later morphed into gifs where it was a hot naked chick, and then should turn in to a transvestite, and you fell for it?

And then later youd get a text with a hot naked chick, and youd wait for whatever ambush was coming....and it turned out to be just a hot naked chick....and then you felt weird...like why is this guy just sending me porn, what is he a weirdo?

Or are my friends just gross?

The thing I got from this post is that your friends are really into trannys.
