Our focus for the next 3-4 years will be about extending Trout and catching Willie Mays. Arte will probably throw some paint on the stadium and that's it, decade over!

But the 14-ounce cup of beer will still cost $4.50. Arte promised us that.

So, all is good.

The team is at .500 operating with a AAA rotation, a patchwork line-up, and a BP in constant rotation...and they are not a mirage.  Their run differential is +2, indicative of .500 team, so they are not playing over their heads

Eppler has done a great job of assembling talent without giving much in return so, with Trout coming back relatively soon, I want to see what he can do to keep this team in contention if they make it through this road trip in decent enough shape.

Also, there not many guys playing above their norms...in fact, guys are underperforming offensively

I'm just teasing.  I am just not wired like you guys who are ALWAYS waiting for the other shoe to drop.  I'm not saying you're wrong, just strange how fans absorb the season differently.

My first year as a baseball fan, my Phillies lost 23 games in a row. Three years later they collapsed at the end of September.

When I became an Angels fan, they lost three pennants in 1979, 1982, and of course, 1986.

Then there was 1995 and Luis Sojo.

There was also the Series win in 2002, so a definite consolation there.

I'm kind of wired at this point to expect the worst. Product of my experiences, I guess.

Elvis Costello's Allison has been playing in my head all thread long...

So Sometimes I wish that I could stop you from talking
When I hear the silly things that you say
I think somebody better put out the big light
'Cause I can't stand to see you this way

Allison, I know this world is killing you
Oh, Allison, my aim is true

I kinda hope Trout comes back tonight so we don't have to see Eric Young again.

Have mercy, he killed us last week.

This reminds me of that classic thread on a Yankees board when we used to own them. It was f'n hilarious.

Yankees are down, down, down right now. Let's see how mad they are. Hard to predict. Boston, I think we'll lose two. Hoping for a split with the Dogs. They're due to cool off a bit.

So, 4-6.

I guess the Yankees weren't "mad" enough.

I prefer Linda Ronstadt's version.

Dodgers won again.

Los Angeles has won 14 of its last 15 games.

"We're really rolling right now," Alex Wood (8-0, 1.86 ERA)  said. "It's going to be tough for anyone to come in here right now."

The Dodgers have scored at least six runs in each of their last seven games.

yea them......

Didn't the Yankees having a winning streak before playing the Angels?

I'm hoping for the same results when we play the Doggies.

They were on a 5 game winning streak coming into Anaheim, after winning the first game against us, they were swept by the A's and lost game 1 at home against us, a 7 game losing streak.
