I have wondered why he'd gone away from his splitter this season after he had so much success with it last year. Generally speaking the splitter leads to elbow problems in the long run.

Yea he's very good.  When we lose a game and people talk about how all this team has is Trout and a bunch of scrubs, it's incredibly ignorant to not include Simmons as a valuable asset.

Exactly what I was telling someone.  It has to be crazy rare for a team to lose their 1-5 starting rotation like this.
