One good thing that could pontentially come out of these injuries is that guys like Chris Wagner are getting opportunities in prominent roles.  Should make them better players.  Also, for certain it will help that guys like Getzlaf and Kesler have fresher legs come playoff time....trick is gonna be staying afloat in order to have a shot at making the playoffs in the first place.

I think one of Shaw or Wagner is going to be traded by the deadline.  Both are UFA after this season.  And with how they are playing, there should be some good interest.

Problem is that Wagner is just not good.  He is literally JAG

Yea he’s not great, but he’s a useful guy.  Skates pretty well and has decent size.  Plays a physical game.  He’s an ideal 4th line player.  Those players are important.  If you can be confident that 4th line guys aren’t going to be completely hemmed in it’s a solid thing.

The coaching staff has to figure out the power play.  Even with the injuries the Ducks should have the personnel have a good power play.  We just can’t keep going on with this zero production shit.
