As of right now Jason Vargas is our team ace. I honestly thought he would be the worst starter on the team going into the season.

Nothing like facing the Astros...having seen them play a lot while still in the NL...they are w/out a doubt, the worst team in baseball.  Very least should be 2-3, if not a sweep.

 

Other than Altuve, I cant think of anyone on that team that is actuall MLB-caliber (not including pitchers).

Agreed. Given the right handed opposing lineup and cheap HR's to left field, I wouln't feel comfortable handing the game over to our blowpen with anything less than a ~9-spot advantage

I hate that stadium...the hill in CF and the cheap Crawford Boxes...however, one thing I do know...Pujols loves hitting in Minute Maid Park.

I'm not a fan of weird ballpark dimensions for the h#ll of it. Fenway makes sense, the park was limited by the layout of the streets. Houston? not so much
