After Mathis left the ERA of every single starting pitcher -- and much of the bullpen-- went up by nearly a full run. Angels have not been to the playoffs since.

How many here thought that same thing the moment the throw sailed?

 

This stuff is getting painful to watch -- we're supposed to be getting somewhat well in this Houston series and instead it's drawing up closer to last place Houston.

We haven't been to the playoffs since 2009. Mathis didn't help us at all in 2010 and 2011.

Mathis lazy year also resulted in no playoffs
