Wow! 

Cameron Maybin is out of the Angels' lineup Tuesday due to pain in his side.

Maybin is being evaluated by the club's medical staff. There should be a more official diagnosis at some point Tuesday night. If it's an oblique strain, he will probably be placed on the 10-day disabled list.

This isn't much of a surprise, in fact it's part of the reason we signed Revere. Maybin has never been able to stay healthy.

It might be a good time for Calhoun to break out of his stupor. If he starts to hit maybe he can return a decent prospect in July.

I really feel like the Angels should just forfiet the rest of the season to avoid the escalation of injuries on this geometric rise which will eventually result in their charter flight flipping over on the runway while taxing, stumbling over a loose baseball bat from the luggage compartment leaving only Espinosa as the sole uninjured occupant.

I never said that. In fact, he must be performing small miracles this year to keep us only a few games below .500.

I think the lineups have been good, more or less, and the handling of the bullpen much better than some previous years.
