I get that he has a two year deal and he isn't going anywhere....but he is obviously in a deep funk and rather than let him slip into the .160's and challenge Espinosa for worst hitter in baseball, why not put Cron at 1b, maybe Cowart at 3b (until Escobar gets back) and use Valbuena sparingly, maybe for defense for now, and ease him back into regular AB's if shows any spark...Send Marte down to clear a spot, he isn't doing anything much either....I get that he has to work his way out of this funk and he isn't going anywhere but do we have to see him every flippin' day?
