maybe I'm pointing out something too stupidly obvious, but I wonder if Espinosa has had his vision checked.  The guy squints constantly and swings straight through pitches that look damn near down the middle.

Shoe is throwing strikes and not using many pitches so far. One out in the third and 16 of his first 21 pitches are strikes. 21 pitches.

The GameDay chart showed those four balls to Springer just missing the outside edge of the strike zone. Trying to get him to go fishing and he didn't.
