It's hard to imagine that Meyer is ever going to get it.  The guy is 27 years old and still pitches like he's some 21yo nervous rube they called up from AA to make his major league debut.  The dude makes the same mistakes over and over.  Flying open.  Flying open.  Flying open.  Just no semblance of how to pitch.

tbf it's incredibly difficult for pitchers as tall as him to maintain their release point/mechanics. We see very few pitchers as tall as him have MLB success. Dude is never gonna have good command from the looks of it. Considering his age(he's already 27) and the fact that he's still mostly just a 2 pitch pitcher, I'd say it's time for the Halos to make the switch with him and convert him to a reliever. Hope for the best there because he has the potential to be a good backend reliever with his stuff.
