Once Bailey and Bedrock are back, along with Parker and Alvarez, I'm digging our bullpen.

Oh and I think that Scioscia deserves credit for bringing in Blake "Hitters Take A Seat" Parker as his high leverage reliever to shut down that hitter to save Nolasco's ERA. Those are exactly the situations that you should bring in one of your best relievers. When I saw Parker come in I actually typed out the Tweet that he blew away the hitter because I was that confident he'd close it out (I joked with Brent that I may be placing a curse on the relievers by pre-tweeting).

Bullpen is really giving me great vibes. If you look at Team K%-BB%'s to date: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=rel&lg=all&qual=0&type=1&season=2017&month=0&season1=2017&ind=0&team=0,ts&rost=0&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=8,d the Angels are ranked 6th even though their actual ERA doesn't reflect that. This is a really good development and bodes well moving forward, particularly for 2018 and beyond when, hopefully, Heaney and Tropeano return to the rotation, strengthening that area and this coming offseason could see the Angels spending money on offense like Mike Moustakas or J.D. Martinez for instance.

As Jeff Fletcher recently said to me on Twitter, "relievers are week to week" (paraphrasing a bit) but we definitely have a good group going right now. Thanks Eppler (and a little bit to Dipoto too for Alvarez)!
