"Didn't know" as he was injecting Nandrolone.  I don't get how a professional athlete can be that dumb to not know or even to feign ignorance.  I'm sure the MLBPA and even his own team's clubhouse guys inform the players.  Totally ruined the Pirates season.

he would be eligible to return shortly after the All Star break but under a provision added in 2013 -- players subject to suspension WHO DID NOT GET A REDUCTION in the suspended time on appeal -- ARE INELIGIBLE for POST-SEASON play.

Not sure if the Pirates need to worry about post-season play now.

It will never be totally cleaned up. Medical technology continues to progress as so ways to cheat continue to progress.
