That's the kinda shit that happens when your starting pitchers suck. Eventually, it will cause problems for the bullpen, too.

Somehow, the rotation needs to step up. The reason why we've had so many rallies is because we're falling behind, and the starting pitching has a lot to do with that. They're going to need to give us a lot more length than they have, or else there won't be enough rallies available, not if it needs to happen every single goddamn game.

This is way off.  He was a 2 win player last year.  The only ones better on the team we're Trout, Calhoun and Simmons.  He had a higher WAR than guys like Escobar, Trumbo, Morales and Albert.  He was batting .300 coming into the game.  All of those things are probably why he's still here.  Oh and he makes literally no money.  He missed a hard hit ball tonight, but he's looked really good defensively this year.

This team will live and die by the starting pitching, which right now appears very shaky.

The bullpen has been impressive, but as others have said, over a long season you cannot overtax them without paying a price.

can't keep asking them to throw 5/4 innings a night. Especially with no days off
