The Angels are not getting any respect from the media with the possible exception of Register. The national sports media, including ESPN, Yahoo sports, MLB.com and all the rest barely mention the Angels if at all. Even the A's get more coverage than us. I think we wi8ll be flying under their radar for another couple of months even if we keep winning these come back games.

Actually CBS sports called us the hottest team in baseball.

Actually CBS sports which gave us a paragraph and called us the hottest team in baseball.

Good article.  This team deserves to be talked about.  Hopefully they keep up the winning!

No respect is nothing new. Halos are on a 4 game win streak and no one else is... I guess CBS noticed.

Read better sights. There are probably 3 stories a week on the Angels from Fangraphs. Including one today on Bedrosian and Bailey. There was a story about Trout's 14 pitch AB against Felix. There was one about the comeback against the Rangers as well. Five Thirty Eight and The Ringer both had Trout stories this week.

If you're just looking for articles about how awesome the whole Angels team is you will have to keep looking. It's been a week. Let's see if they sustain it. The Reds, Os, and DBacks are also in 1st and haven't gotten many articles written about how great they are either.

Not that I keep track, but an article about both of the Angels' come-from-behind wins were on the ESPN MLB main page, the morning after their wins, as well as on MLB.com. They were NOT, however, on the Central Maine Sports Blog.

East Coast Bias!!!!

On MLB Network's MLB Central show Wednesday morning, the Rangers-Angels game was up early in the show. The discussion was "what went wrong" for the Rangers and how could it have happened. Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but it seemed there was a fleeting mention of Trout and Albert. They did show the winning run, but it was mostly a theme of "the Rangers can fix this and those Angels were lucky Texas had an off night." But maybe I was just imagining the tilt.

If it didn't come from Pio Deportes, I don't care.
