In 1988, Orel Herschiser started 35 games and had 15 CGs and 8 shutouts. I'm certain MS caught the majority of those. MS has a career 34% throwing out runners trying to steal. He also caught over 11,000 innings.

Does this sound like he is highly qualified to manage?

So I can only conclude that something is highly suspicious as to why his decisions are so poor. And getting fired is something that seems to be very close to the truth to me.

i don't feel wronged or insulted that the team isn't winning. while i am a fan of this team, it defies explanation why this team is managed like this.

and yes, our thought processes bring order to chaos.

scioscia's purposely going in the tank. its the only explanation for the mind numbing moves he makes.

he purposely exposes the teams weaknesses to make jd look bad, get fired and sit on his ass and collect money.

if i can see how bad his choices are as far as who to play, relief piching and on field strategy, there's something terribly wrong.

this might all be funny if i was a fan of another team. as it is it's probably the worst mess i've ever seen of a mlb field management staff.

This bullpen is a freaking joke,.  Anyone that thinks they could manage it better is full of it.  He's currently got Frieri and Downs and a bunch of guys that aren't close to being proven.  Burnett's been available for what? 40% of the games they have played..  if that.  

 

They are going to have to play thought this awfulness and either get right or figure out who they will trade to bring in some talent.
