Fun Fact:

Angels have 3 wins when trailing by 2+ runs entering the 9th inning. The Rangers and Mariners don't even have 3 wins on the season

Anyone that knows me from the old Angels board and has paid attention once I first migrated over here knows, I was pushing for Cowart to get a shot as the everyday 3B. But after the last year and a half, I pretty came to realize he just couldn't hit enough, or even take an occasional walk, for his great glove to justify him at 3B full time.

I just noticed, well my son noticed, that he hit his 2nd HR in 2 days going 3-4 tonite hitting .280/.379/.560/.939 - 4BB and 3 SB. It's been only 6 games so far so I'm not getting too excited yet, but still hoping he can finally live up to the expectation that got him drafted 18th over all in the 2010 draft by the Angels.

I don't think you'll be seeing Cowart unless he gets on fire, or there's an injury, or both.

Cowart still has a shot since Escobar is signed only through this year.

This team is unreal. 3 comebacks when trailing entering the 9th. They've scored 13 9th inning runs already through 8 games. To come back from 5 run deficits and winning back to back games is unheard of. In fact, Matt Birch tweeted that it was the 1st time since the 1971 Tigers that a team did that. Fun stuff!
