Come on Samuel.  Do it.  It would be epic.  Scorpions on a Plane on a United flight guess staring Dao.  He will come to the rescue as the only doctor on the flight.  But he won't help until he gets his price, no matter how much you rough him up.

I flew Delta and got stuck in Nashville last week because of weather related delays and cancellations from a storm that went through Atlanta. They had to cancel 3200 flights because of the storms. The issue for us was that they didn't have any flight attendants for our flight. They gave my family of 4 a hotel for the night and $150 in food vouchers. The food vouchers were only good for restaurants in the airport and by this time it was late and the restaurants were closing. My wife went to Starbucks and cleaned them out of their snack food items. The hotel was just OK.

We found an early flight out on  American Airlines for the next morning and jumped on it.

When we got home I called Delta and waited for 2 hours for them to answer. They refunded us our entire fare without hesitation.

Today I received an email from Delta giving each of us a $200 voucher for the inconvenience.

It maybe a PR move since this United drop and drag problem but I feel they handled it properly. I would fly Delta again for sure.

Chicago airport security under fire over United fiasco

Quote

But Jeff Redding, who is in charge of safety and security at the Chicago Department of Aviation, which operates O'Hare International Airport, says airport security officers are not supposed to respond to such calls.

Quote

The airport security officers, while required to meet minimum police standards and go through academy training, are not in fact police, and cannot carry guns or arrest people.

it's all over the news. sounds like some dude was frustrated with a chick holding her baby and hit her with the stroller and maybe said something. all the videos of the situation are after whatever happened and some random dude on the flight that saw what happened kind of gets in the flight attendant guys face and the flight attendant doesn't diffuse the situation and even kind of instigates it.

the dude was suspended today.

bad timing to do something like this right after the united incident.

People who were aboard the flight said that the AA employee forcibly grabbed the stroller from the mother, hitting her and narrowly missing her baby in the process. A male passenger who witnessed it confronted the employee, who told the passenger, "Hit me". A female passenger who witnessed the incident in the jetway as everyone was boarding said that the employee told her aggressively, "You stay out of it!", much as he did with the male passenger on board the aircraft.

American Airlines Suspends Flight Attendant After Altercation Over Stroller

Assuming that passenger accounts of the incident are at least mostly factual, the flight attendant was far too aggressive in grabbing the stroller from the mother, and he also verbally threatened several passengers. The mother and her children were escorted off the flight, and the belligerent FA was allowed back on board. He should lose his job, IMO.
