My 2 cents: I do believe it's possible Richards has something besides a cramp. 

I don't believe Richards thinks that. He's not that good of an actor. He gave off zero whiff of a coverup or concern. He really thinks this is nothing.

I also remember how shocked he was at the TJ diagnosis last year.

I believe that he may have slightly adjusted his mechanics hoping that it will help protect his elbow. Even if he's ok to go this season is going to be a grind for him. He's going to do whatever is necessary to stay away from the knife but 97 mph fastballs are tough on elbows, shoulders and biceps.

Jeff: You are generally pretty careful about speculating....does "it's possible" from you mean anything more than wait and see what the testing shows?

No. I have no inside info. I am just basing it on the fact that many pitchers who think nothing is wrong end up with something wrong. I've seen it a lot. Of course, I've also seen many times where they say nothing is wrong and nothing is wrong. Like Skaggs this spring.

Per the other thread (Pedro Moura), elbow is sound.   It's nerve irritation in the biceps, expected to miss the next start (being an off day anyway).
