Trout continues to be awesome while surrounded by players picked up at the Goodwill store. That's my main complaint but the game was entertaining. I'm very curious to see if Richards and Skaggs get the same amount of rope that Nolasco got tonight. I don't think he pitched bad but he got tired after 60 pitches.

Calhoun, Simmons, Cron, Pujols, Escobar, Maybin, Espinosa etc. are not players picked up at the goodwill store.

To clarify I'm talking about the newbies. Most of them are MLB vagabonds. They go from team to team before they head over to Japan to become superstars.

Trout alone is worth watching every game, every season.

Let's just hope we stay competitive all season. I don't give a shit about the first game of the season.

really, this is pretty much the truth of it.  Who gives a fuck about this game.  Nolasco was the starter.  This was probably the game you circle as an L in this series anyway.

At least we aren't the Padres!

Padres don't have to watch a generational talent being squandered because their owner swung and missed, and is now gunshy to make the team competitive. Arte meddled. he should have let the baseball people handle the roster.
