Chuck, stopped reading after you posted runs scored 889. That is more than any previous Angels team has produced in their entire franchise history.

You are crazy talking an improvement of over 160 runs better than last season. Maldonado isn't a hitter so catching isn't adding to run totals, we may even see a decline from the Perez/Bandy combo.

Espinoza should be an increase from Gia/Pennington (62) but his  projection is 62 runs. This could be a wash as well since he is really Pennington part deux.

So what you are banking on for an increase from last year is left field and the bench. If you plug Revere in left his ceiling is about 82 runs. Maybin is about 82. Platoon them and you get about 82 runs. When you add up all the junk we put in left field last season it came up to about 65 runs. 

The bench depth is much improved but you still have Pennington backing up short and he can't hit. So you are getting a few dozen extra runs off the bench but that isn't pushing the needle up to 160 run improvement over the entire roster.

Half that may be more realistic and that is banking on no one else having a poor season. I can see Trout being Trout, Cron improving, Calhoun holding his own, Simmons being the same, Escobar declining along with Pujols.

If they scored 789 it will be a huge jump over last season.

Or maybe you were posting runs allowed.
