The best voter reaction is to boycott restaurants that use those practices. You need no legislation, in this case, to change the marketplace. It always resets by consumer activity.

This isn’t hard. You incarnate younger, longer, and not in these prisons today. Prison is going to be long and undesirable.. Bring back the death penalty with a more streamlined approach. Let these gangsters see their homeboys executed in the street.
The left is all about executing innocent babies because one day they’ll be criminals. The far thing to do is give everyone a chance an execute the criminals  We act like gun banning is the only solution  these kids are fighting in school, shop lifting, and flashing weapons on social media long before they kill. These kids are out there breeding and playing adult games  it’s time to adjust the consequences accordingly

We also start teaching morals , traditional families, stop teaching victim hood, and hate. Our killers are increasingly younger and hate filled. They’re also increasingly black and queer. We’ve filled their heats with hate under the guise of pride. We need to start teaching them to respect God, family, and country. I’m not saying everyone has to be Christian but these kids will accept that stealing and killing are wrong or be severely punished. Also the queers need to understand that their lifestyle are unhealthy though not illegal. However they will be taxed and pay insurance premiums to reflect their choices.

This is an approach to reduce violence in general, but doesn't relate to guns specifically.

4% of the population commits at least 60% of gun homicides in America. It’s probably closer to 80 if we count unsolved murders.

Maybe we should simply ban blacks from owning guns as a test run. The government has basically combined whites and Hispanics so the gun violence statistics aren’t more lopsided. 42% of of Caucasian Americans own guns and probably account for less than 10-20 % of murders. Culture is killing more Americans than guns.

You really gotta ask why Reagan thought it was OK to put these people out on the street instead of in an institution and here 40 years later we'd still rather not spend the money.

It's nearly 50 years later and the state has been Dem controlled but never brought back institutionalization.  Quit blaming Reagan.

I got so fucking tired of voting NO on these stupid things only to have the idiots in CA approve them anyway. Finally I had to move away.

Don't worry, we will just spend another $10 billion on top of the $10 billion on top of the $6 billion.  All on bond, at the highest interest rates in decades.  It's for the children!

AB 247: Education finance: school facilities: Kindergarten Through Grade 12 Schools and Local Community College Public Education Facilities Modernization, Repair, and Safety Bond Act of 2024.

But just in case spending money doesn't get passed by the voters.  We can always let our idiots in charge spend money easier.

Quote

Proposition 5: Lower voter approval requirements for local housing and infrastructure bonds. This constitutional amendment from the Legislature would make it easier for local governments to borrow money for affordable housing and other infrastructure. To avoid opposition from the influential real estate industry, supporters agreed to block bond money from being used to buy single-family homes.

Apparently reading comprehension is also one of the biggest issues in CA.

it's too bad we can't figure out a way to desalinate ocean water in a cost effective way.

Yeah, but either the science is there or it isn’t.  You want a proposition on the ballot to build a bunch of desalination plants at a cost of a billion dollars?  I say we just kick out all the Mexicans.  They love those fountains that use a lot of water.
