I'd like to see Oakland have a better home field. It doesn't bother me, all the foul ground. Every park has its quirks. But improve the fan experience.

If they can't get a new stadium built, can this one survive a similar scale down to Angel Stadium in 1998?

That was a decent looking place, pre-Mt. Davis.

I hope they can do something, the fans deserve it.

Those games are so fun, sucks their stadium is an old POS.

I think everyone would be OK with removing mount davis and opening it up to the view of the foothills again.

Strange. From everything I've read the baseball fan experience at an Oakland Athletics game is among some of the best in the Major Leagues. 

From what I heard the fans actually watch the game, and pay attention, and it feels like you're, oh I don't know, attending a BALLPARK. Instead of some clown show meant to entertain the people that aren't there to actually watch a ballgame and are more interested in posting photos on Insta or Snap. 

And I'm totally OK with that.

But they gotta lose Mount Davis. Look how beautiful that view is in the first photo. Just breathtaking and awesome.

Weren't they looking into getting a new one near a port in Oakland?  I'm pretty sure I saw designs for it last year.

I read something after I posted this about how the A's are supposed to announce a new stadium site soon.   It is actually supposed to happen this time.  Probably at the port like Rico mentioned or at the coliseum site.

Who am I kidding?    Even without the eyesore named Mt. Davis, it's still a 50 year old park this season; and one in an area soon to be vacated by the Warriors.
