Not sure...Scioscia was pretty firm that Maybin gets an every day opportunity...he has a bigger contract and we know that matters...but Scioscia also loves to platoon...we'll see.....

Has Roger Lodge been doing play-by-play all spring?  This is the 1st game that I've watched and, honestly, his presence means I'm probably not gonna last long.

2 things so far that's notable: Pujols has a home run in this game and it looks like he's ready for Opening Day. On top of that, I just watched Scioscia get ejected by the home plate umpire. Looks like the Angels are ready to start the season.

Legit question -- WTF taught CJ Cron how to play defense?  He's been picking it all spring.

Cron may be taking that next step.   His defense was already improving a year ago.

Valbuena may have a little trouble finding playing time, when healthy.  Although it's nice having his lefty bat.

He really has -- but it seems like he's finally comfortable out there.   Just looks like a different player on defense this spring.   Would love to see him continue to up his walk rate -- he's becoming a much more well rounded player.
