I'd rather keep Morin as SLC depth for now. Been awhile since we had someone at least possibly reliable ready to shuttle back and forth from AAA. Last year AJ Achter was that guy.

Morin also seems like the type of guy who could be thrown in on a midseason trade with someone like Escobar to help seal a better return. Someone who could help a team in the stretch run due to their league/division not being as familiar.

I've always had this conspiracy thought that a few other teams could get together and decide that they want to make a player from another team look good during the spring so he'd make the roster.  And then they would tee off on him during the regular season.

Anyway, they showed Parker's split in slow mo last night and the thing just tumbled off the table.  That pitch is just filthy.  It looks very similar to his fastball coming out of his hand.  The one thing that's gonna happen is the same thing that happens to Shoe once in awhile where guys will guess right on the fastball and if it's not located properly, it will get hammered.

Same can be said for all the great pitchers and aces out there, Doc.

He's got a solid fastball (93-94 MPH) that he locates well to go along with a fantastic curve & splitter.

Parker needs to buy whoever taught him to throw that splitter a beer.
