Marte goes 3-3 with a HR, has a day off ans Sosh still benches him..

#*!$%

lol remarkable. Some things never change.

He may use it in interviews from time to time, but I don't think anyone's ever really explained to Skip the definition of "momentum"...

Tyler Skaggs will have his next start pushed back due to weakness in his shoulder.

Should be back by March 15

Seriously, is Skaggs just one of those guys who may not have the body to withstand pitching from March to September/October?   Seems like he's been hurt a lot this decade.

I'd rather the opening day starters get their time in.

btw... I wasn't serious.

That said, I would rather Marte start over Escobar. His defense is better at the hot corner, even if marginally, but his bat is much better in terms of power and RBI production.

Nolasco could be primed for a rock solid season, after a tweak led to dominant pitching from mid-August on.

Nolasco is a .500 pitcher. Has been for a decade. If he can stay healthy and eat innings that isn't bad, but I don't really see him as suddenly becoming dominant.
