Weaver makes first ST appearance for SD

Jered Weaver pitched in what I think was his first ST appearance for San Diego today.

His line: IP 2; H - 4; R-1; ER - 1; K -1 BB- 0 and he got the WIN......I guess ST rules in effect. 2 IP start and you get the win.

Still - nice to see Weaver have a pretty decent start to get the arm limbered up.

I'm rooting for him to do well with the Padres.

Hoping he does well.  Gotta root for the older guy trying to make it happen by being crafty because the tools of his youth are gone.  Just not on the Angels.

Weaver gone almost makes me cry. His decline was unprecedented, and his ferocity and competitiveness on the mound, unmatched. 

I hope he does well for the Padres, but I wish he was an Angel forever.
