I wonder what the odds are that he becomes the first batter to go to 1st base without having to stand and take 4 wide ones.

Don't think it's high that due to the fact that the Angels open the season at Oakland at night while like every other teams would be done with their first game of the season already.

Since ML teams, on average, issue less than 30 IBB's in a whole season, it's entirely possible that only 1 IBB will be issued on opening day.
