Because he’s conservative. Very common to see leftists hate him even though he’s quick to point out the Republican party’s bullshit

I don't mean to get too Lifetime on you guys, but I was simply commenting on their smugness. I think that Shapiro has some very good takes. It's unnecessary, IMO. It's a characteristic that I dislike regardless of who it's coming from.

I think he is just naturally born with the smugness gene like Ken Rosenthal, who still has his mother cut his hair and dress him in a bow tie. I have a hard time sitting through a Rosenthal segment because I just feel the smugness oozing through him. Ben can give you that same feeling although I will listen to his takes. Maybe if his subject matter was baseball I'd dislike him more.
