This is what I know.

1. Fine particulate is a problem because it is linked to heart attacks, lung cancer, DNA mutations, and premature death.

2. Asking Alaskans to stop burning wood as a source of heat is a non-starter.

 

The EPA should work with local government to try to clean up fine particulate, while at the same time understand there is only so much they can do in Alaska.
