i'm sure by now you've all seen what ads & logos look like on european hockey jerseys and pants. it's a giant crapfest that the NHL is seriously considering in the very near future.

surprised it took this long. shit look at soccer club like manchester united, they got 750 million from chevrolet over 10 years....that's like a tv contract by itself from just one sponsor.

i like the minimalist design of us sports, but people need to capitalize on the rabid sports fan and maximize profits. the same guy that buys a phillies jersey is going to do so with an extra brand logo on it.

Love it. The uniforms now are tired. I hope they do some things that Nike has helped with in football. Modernizing the baseball uniform would be sweet.

The EPL is a different animal. The name of the primary sponsor is what is most prominent on the uniform, and any club logo is secondary (usually a small crest patch on the front or the sleeve).

But Nike did an awful job with the Browns and especially the Bucs rebranding.

See I am a fan of the Browns and the Bucs Uniforms the only ones that look hideous to me are those Jaguars ones.

and that's exactly why i hate letting sponsors have prime space on uniforms. i want to see the team name, and i don't want to see jersey cluttered with a bunch of nascar type crap.

i tell you, i sure wouldn't. i'm not wearing a friggin toyota shirt or some pharma company logo.

You know whats not going to be a big deal? A logo on a jersey. How many people complain about the Nike logo on the football jerseys. Its something different people will stress about it till it happens and then no one will talk about it.
