Yes, you can blame millennials for Hillary Clinton’s loss

FWIW, Nate Silver "almost certaintly" thinks Trump doesn't win if not for the Comey letter. I agree but it's still sad that she couldn't beat him even with that. No question many of other factors, including her own mistakes (like setting up a private server in the first place), contributed to the results.

As for the thread topic, Bernie Sanders hurt her pretty badly with millennials on the subject of Wall Street. A lot of the protesters didn't vote for her or even at all lol

It's sad all right. Even with the media completely on her side attacking Trump relentlessly she still couldn't hold the blue line.

Even with the barrage of negative ads, electoral map advantage, celebrity endorsements, and Obama she failed to win in states that haven't gone to a Republican in decades.

Maybe it would have been different if Wikileaks hadn't exposed the truth about Democrats and the mainstream media.

I think Joe would have won.  He's actually likable.  The only reason Trump won is because Hillary wasn't likable.

He also would have connected to the rust belt folks much better than Hillary.  His campaign would have been run like a campaign instead of a coronation.

People don't hate Biden as much as they do Clinton, so that alone could have been the difference.

But this was Middle America rising up to repudiate Obama's policies on immigration, trade, and national security. They are tired of being called racists, deplorables, etc. by the liberal elites. They don't want to blame cops for everything, and they want jobs.

But still the Democrats could have won with a different candidate IMO.

That's a good point, people in the Rust Belt felt completely ignored, and Joe does have a a little bit of a way with them.

So I know most people think Biden would have won, but wouldn't he have had a hard time too since he would have been the ultimate status quo candidate? Would millennials like any more than Hillary? He's even more of a centrist than she is.

Biden would have won easily.  Hillary had so much baggage, and really an elitist attitude, and that's what cost her.  If Biden ran, the DNC wouldn't have had to fix the race for him.  So the leaked info would have been a non story.

What did she end up actually losing by? 100,000 votes spread across a handful of battleground States. There didn't seem to be a message to middle-income voters. If the dems want to tax the rich more, they should propose taxing them a lot more, extend the economic definition of the middle class and cut those taxes.
