If he asks for a deal, better to get something back and try to make him happy. Keeping a player who wants to leave doesn't lead to anything good.

Yankees fans are in as much denial as Lakers' fans. Even though I am a Lakers fan, it does get tiresome how, year after year, the vast majority of their fans just assume that every great player wants to be a Laker.
