Mike Trout snubbed... Altuve wins Player's Choice Player of the Year

Even when "valuable" isn't in the name of the award...  even when it's not "dumb writers" voting on the award...   Trout gets snubbed.    Altuve was the third most outstanding player, at best... in the AL.

Players often aren't very good at evaluating this stuff. Wasn't the some award not long ago they nominated Ortiz for but not Trout?

Voted awards are just that....voted awards. Voters use whatever criteria they fancy. Saying their votes are wrong is just pissing in the wind.

Agreed.  They are good at playing baseball.

Trout won AL Outstanding Player in 2014 and AL Outstanding Rookie in 2012.
