Either the Dodgers or the Cubs will advance to the WS. Either way, it will suck in certain aspects. If the Dodgers advance it will suck because it's the Dodgers. If the Cubs advance it will suck because board will be flooded with Maddon versus Scioscia comments.

Who do you want to win? Wary of my whammy, I will keep my choice secret for now.

I root for one team.  When the Angels are out of it, I root against certain teams.   The Dodgers are one of those teams this year (and every year).  I also like to see teams with long droughts win... so Cubs/Indians was my preferred World Series match up.  

I've heard/read some say they are rooting against the Cubs... because their fans will become like Red Sox fans... because of the hype...  mind boggling.

Only for people that are unable to let shit from the past go. I guess the Indians would be my choice but really it's about the Doyers not making it.

I want good baseball which means I want a 7 game series.  Also as I've mentioned before I love when baseball is baseball and unpredictable shit happens.  Also because of a family member who is a Dodger fan that is battling cancer, I wouldn't mind the Dodgers beating the Cubs.

To put this in perspective, my father, who passed away almost 17 years ago at the age of 82, was serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II the last time that the Cubs appeared in the World Series, and he wouldn't be born for another nine years the last time that they won it.

Except that it wasn't. The Angels flew home March 30th to Los Angeles. The Cubs flew in from Las Vegas on April 2nd after a two game road trip with the Mets. The Angels were home and in their own beds 3 days prior to hosting the visiting Cubs. Too much rest maybe?
