How the Sox ended up losing that is almost mind boggling. Allen had no control over any pitch and yet still got enough outs to close the game. I thought for sure he was going to be yanked before he threw something to the backstop. Pedroia even swung at a pitch over his head to keep from getting walked and Allen followed that pitch with a worse one.

Allen falling behind to every hitter. Come on already

I was watching this unfold for the last two innings, thinking, Francona's going to leave this guy in until he blows the game. It nearly happened.

Jake Arrieta hit a three-run homer off Madison Bumgarner. What are the odds?

I hate when they use the camera view behind the plate, behind the backstop. It's one thing when you're at the game behind the back stop, you can see the ball well, but when you're watching it on camera you can't see sh*t because the ball hides behind the umpire, catcher, and batter, and the depth perception sucks. And when they hit the ball you can't tell where it's going or how far. So dumb.

And these commentators are vomit-inducing "He is a SPECIAL ballplayer" wtf? That's the best you got?

^East Coast Bias. But seriously, I think it came down to "definitive evidence" to overturn the call. But from the angles I saw, his foot was off the bag. I would like to know who's in that booth making these decisions. Because they clearly miss angles that we all see.

By the way, when does it get to the point where ballplayers are allowed to wear their hats backwards? This Strop dipshit puts crooked hat to shame. I can't believe an organization would let him represent their team that way.

Giants bats have 6 outs to make something happen.

Also, the Lemonade/Ice-T commercials are friggin hilarious to me for some reason.

Going to Chapman with 6 outs is going to be questioned quite a bit if they lose

Smoltz made a good point but I'd add that maybe Maddon was going to use a different rp for the 9th. I'm a firm believer that you bring your best pitcher in the game when the situation calls for it and it certainly did there. Chapman just blew it.
