Newest information on Angel FAs: Expect slow starts

This was Travis Rogers’ explanation this morning:  Since Albert struggled last year when he got here, and he is the ultimate professional/grinder, then you know that Hamilton is going to struggle with the new environment, pressures, etc.

So maybe since these new FAs are killing the Angels’ seasons, howsabout we quit signing them?

Cabrera did start slowly in April 2008 for the Tigers, but again so did pretty much the entire Tigers offense.

But after that, he took off.

Difference between he and Pujols/Hamilton though is that he was only 25 in 2008.

True moral to the story: NEVER, EEEEVER sign a +30 aged player to a super contract!

And if that cuts the possible future FA signings down to a bare minimum, so be it!
