I didn't look closely at the list, but really hope that songs like "Be Here to Love Me" by Van Zandt and "Return of the Grievous Angel" by Parsons made the list. 

Townes Van Zandt Pancho and Lefty at #41.  Gram Parsons $1000 wedding #40.  Parsons was mentioned quite a bit in other songs though.

I imagine I listen to more country than most on this board, especially older stuff, and I've only got about 35 of these songs in my library. If it was my list there'd be more Emmylou Harris and Tom T Hall. And I'd have to have something from the Flying Burrito Brothers.

Gotta have some Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison of course.    Glen Campbell's "Southern Nights" was always a favorite too.

Emmylou Harris was a regular at the Long Beach State "Banjo, Fiddle, and Guitar" festival yearly back in the 1970s, that drew quite a few thousands to it.
